Terms and Conditions Users of this website and our services must adhere to all of the terms and conditions herein. Orders that are duly entered cannot be cancelled except on terms that compensate Masterbrand Canada in full for all costs incurred. Applicable taxes are based on the prevailing rates in effect at time of invoicing and may differ (due to changes in government regulations) from the rates shown in this estimate. Agreements are made, and all orders are accepted contingent upon strikes, lock-outs, fires, acts of God, accidents or other causes beyond our control. Alterations may involve a change in price as estimates are based on specifications and available information as originally submitted. Any change therefrom may involve a change in price. All matters of judgment not specifically covered by the specifications shall be left to the discretion of Masterbrand Canada. In the event that the customer desires to make any changes after the work is in progress, or after it has been completed (if any such change requires additional work and/or materials) a reasonable charge will be made. Permits (as required) will be applied for by Masterbrand Canada, in cases where the client is unable to. The cost of permit drawings and permit fees payable to the applicable jurisdictions are not included in this quotation, and are extra. The cost of paid-duty police (if required) and special Hydro inspections are extra. Restrictions, if imposed by jurisdictional bodies in order to comply with codes for the purpose of procuring the necessary permits, may involve an adjustment in sign cost. Additional charges will be made if submissions and attendance at jurisdictional meetings or hearings is required, in order to obtain variances or relief from existing by-laws. Permission that may be required from the owner(s)/landlord or any other persons exercising control of the property to erect signs and to install through-bolts in walls if required, shall be secured by the purchaser. Electricity for illuminated signs shall be paid for by the customer, and electrical hook up is to be provided by others and is not included here unless otherwise specified. (All signs are quoted utilizing power of 120 volts unless specified otherwise.) Proper and readily accessible feed wires of suitable capacity to within 5' of the location of the sign, must be provided by others. All jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, silk screens, patterns or other tooling supplied by Masterbrand Canada for manufacture of the products covered by this quotation, whether partially or wholly invoiced to the purchaser, shall remain the property of Masterbrand Canada. In the case where the work described herein is contracted by a client or agent on behalf of a third party, it is clearly understood that payment of all monies, shall be made by the purchaser promptly when due. Furthermore the payment of said monies is not contingent in any way upon collection of monies by agent or client from the third party. This quotation is subject to credit approval following receipt of a confirmed order. Should any or all payments not be made promptly when due, Masterbrand Canada may (without prejudice to its rights), stop work and curtail further services, and at its option, cancel all or any portion of the contract formed by acceptance of this quotation. The title, ownership and right to possession of said sign(s) shall remain with Masterbrand Canada until the purchase price and any other monies hereunder payable are fully paid. Suitable clear access for neon transformers (for through-wall installations) must be provided by client. Site preparation, including the installation of structural steel reinforcement (if required) shall be paid for by the customer. Weather Permiting For Outdoor Installations. Changes in specifications, prices, or conditions must be approved in writing by an officer of Masterbrand Canada. Installation of signage will be conducted in a professional manner, with limited liability. Masterbrand Canada will not be responsible for signs installed according to client requests, if those requests are in any way contrary to Masterbrand Canada’s recommendations for the installation, including structural/support issues, sign location, mounting hardware, or other specific information related to the installation of the sign(s). We are not responsible for failure due to client recommendations, improper service by others, weather or acts of God. If failure should occur, advise Masterbrand Canada for service or authorization to repair. Terms |
